Generally, iPad apps are in ten categories and a good number of these apps are must-have. If you agree with me that iPad rocks here is a list of my super-duper must have iPad apps. Hope they will change your world as they did mine.
1. Flipboard: Flipboard is quite a must-have iPad app. The iPad App does not only bring both the Facebook and Twitter streams to one place, but also make them have a magazine-style feel so you can squeeze out all the enjoyment as you read. In addition, you can re-tweet, post, or email text articles to your Facebook wall.
2. Twitter: Until Tweeter bought it, this application was known as Tweetie. It has a column view, which makes it easy to view and click links inside the app. This is by far the best Twitter app around.
3. iBooks and Kindle: The iPad is the number one book-reading machine. These two iPad apps make that possible and they are the Apple iBooks and the Amazon Kindle. With these iPad apps, you read from a huge collection of ebooks in a convenient manner. You can also take notes and purchase millions of books online.
4. Skype: This iPad app gives you almost all the good things you’ve come to know Skype for. The only problem is that one can’t make video calls. However, you can make and receive calls to and from anywhere in the world.
5. Pulse: Pulse is simply a news aggregator that makes it easy to read news in a very convenient environment. You can choose news sources and share news with friends online.
6. Instapaper: This iPad app let’s you save web pages for reading whenever you have the time. It has a bookmark for your browser.
7. GoToMeeting: GoToMeeting is an excellent iPad app for business users. It lets people engage in online meetings. I have it on my iPad and I must say that it does not only let me participate in online meetings, interact on graphs or charts, but also makes it possible for me to read slideshows.
8. DocsToGo: Do you like Microsoft Office? You would like this one too. This iPad app allows you to create articles or open documents in any file format. It is also compatible to cloud documents like Google docs.
Obviously, the iPad has far more than a truckload of apps. That is good news if only you can search through the millions of iPad apps in the Apple store. For those who don’t have the luxury of time, it could be quite frustrating to wade through the tens of thousands of iPad apps and still have thousands more staring at you.
